Each teacher, parent, and student must sign the Commitment to Excellence. This is a set of promises we make to each other in order to reach our goal of academic excellence.

Teachers' Commitment:

Without taking shortcuts, we fully commit to KIPP Austin College Prep in the following ways:

• We will do whatever it takes to challenge our students to meet KIPP Austin Prep’s expectations for academic skills, intellectual habits, and character qualities.
• We will always strive to improve our teaching abilities.
• We will always protect the safety, interests, and rights of all individuals in the classroom.
• We will be available to students and parents to discuss their concerns.
• We will arrive at KIPP Austin College Prep every day by 7:15 a.m.
• We will remain at KIPP Austin College Prep until 5 p.m.
• We will come to KIPP Austin College Prep on appropriate Saturdays at 8 a.m. and remain until 1 p.m.

• We will teach at KIPP Austin College Prep during the summer.
