Teaching at KIPP Austin
The heart of KIPP Austin is its faculty—a group of talented, compassionate individuals with an average of four years of teaching experience. KIPP Austin’s dedicated teachers are responsible for helping our students improve their academic skills so dramatically during their four years in middle school.
KIPP Austin will be opening nine schools over the next nine years, serving more than 5,000 students in pre-kindergarten through twelfth grade. We need passionate, dedicated educators at all levels who are committed to our students and their educational progress.
Positions available will include founding teachers at KIPP Austin Collegiate High School, middle school teachers at KIPP Austin College Prep, organizational leaders to support schools on the Shared Services Team, and founding principals for the new elementary school and second middle school, both slated to open in 2009.
