The Social Worker will work directly with students, teachers and parents. He/she will provide individual and group counseling as well as link families to long-term counseling solutions with outside organizations. The Social Worker will serve as an advisor to a group of approximately 20 students and will meet weekly with the Assistant Principal and grade level teams.
The goal of this position is to provide support to all school stakeholders to help the school achieve its mission to empower underserved students to achieve success in four-year colleges and universities, and have the freedom to shape their futures and positively affect their communities.
Principal
Master's degree in Social Work (MSSW).
Fluent in both English and Spanish.
Experience with low-income students is a plus.
7:15 a.m. to 5:15 p.m, Monday through Friday. Some evenings, and one Saturday a month.
Salary based on relevant experience, starting at $40K plus benefits.
